Location and Breakfast: FABULOUS. Lobby decor: lovely Amenities: rooftop pool, gym, sauna. Wi-fi: Included with room, but intermittent & slooooow. Not able to add photos here due to poor connection. Room: NOT what I'd describe as 4-star, by any stretch. Bare-bones furnishings, rather like a youth hostel. At least there was a mini-frig with room for drinks. Bathroom: well-appointed, including a bidet; however, we did have to fix the toilet when the flush mechanism came apart... Beds: Saggy mattresses. Two twins moved together (big seam between). Backache in the morning. Bottom line: Acceptable.

No roof access before 10am and after 10pm, this is the only outdoor space.

Avoid. There is currently building works. You can not use roof terrace before 10am, at which point Builders start work on the roof. There seems to be some confusion about exactly when the building is being done. Please also note they have a strict no roof policy after 10pm, you will not be allowed to "go up to see the stars", which I'm told is a common request. Room WiFi did not work and window does not fully open and bathroom water damage and no extractor fan. The hotel did fix broken bathroom light and door at our request on our arrival promptly, and the hotel is clean and safe with a 1st rate reception team. Summary; avoid if sunrise or stars, fresh air or WiFi, are important to you. Go if you need a safe clean place to stay with excellent reception staff. (I will update on progress as I have made a formal complaint via booking.com as I think this situation is unfair for the staff, builders and future guests)

Nice hotel, everything is quite new, the service is good. The rooftop is open, has a big suiting area, you can go there with your own drinks as well as order from the bar. The bartender was a real professional, we enjoyed our drinks and the preparation process👍🔥

this is a very nice hotel. The location is perfect on a side street in the middle of the Ramblas. the entrance is not that nice but the lobby behind it is quite tastefully decorated. the rooms are neat and tidy and the beds are very nice. the staff is very willing to help when you need something. One area for improvement is the maintenance, which leaves much to be desired here and there. Furthermore, the breakfast is full of choice and prepared with attention.
